Happy New Year fastest ever to 100 crores, shatters all previous records to put an earth shattering feat

The Farah Khan directorial has now registered its name as a record holder for quite a few substantial feats. The film is now the biggest opener ever surpassing Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 by a huge margin. Happy New Year is now also the quickest to enter the 100 crore club taking just a little over two days to attain that solid figure. The film has also set the record of earning the maximum money in a single day besides achieving the figure of highest weekend collection. With so many box office figures going in its kitty, the film reflects the mood of the audience who’ve gone out in large numbers to watch the movie for sure. Happy New Year has cemented Shahrukh Khan’s stardom as the most appealing star on a lot of counts. The impression that some people had drawn about him not being as big a figure as Salman or Aamir, have probably been given an answer to.
While these collections have made some people have a jaw dropping expression, some have rejoiced to the fullest. It’s now going to be interesting to find if the film surmounts Dhoom 3 as the highest grosser ever too. The reviews have been extremely mixed and so is the word of mouth. But the strong promotion and film’s extravaganza is going to make sure it delivers much more than what it deserves.
